"Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll

Alice gets to a fork in the road and she asks the Cat:
- Would you please tell me which way I ought to go from here?
- That depends a great deal on where you want to go, - said the Cat to Alice.
- I don't much care where, - said Alice.
- Then it doesn't matter which way you go, - said the Cat.
- But I need to get somewhere, - exclaimed Alice.
- Oh, in that case, if you walk long enough, you'll get there, - replied Cat.

Moral: Which is the goal of way you are following? If you don't know where you are going you never know when you have arrived! To get anywhere there must be an end in view; the fact that the destination changes over time and distance is a challenge which we all live with.
