Children see - children do!

The influence of our role models on behaviour is something of particular interest to psychologists and we study it through the entire psychology course. More specifically we look at the research conducted by Bandura and his work into Social Learning Theory (SLT) in the imitation of aggression. In a television advertisement called “Children See. Children do” which was actually aired in Australia a few year ago a powerful message is passed across to the viewer. The message in the video is clear: children imitate behaviour that they see around them: talking on a phone, body language … smoking, violence, so make sure that you’re setting a good example. There’s plenty of psychology behind this and it can be related to many areas that we cover: AS, crime and health behaviours, and we’ll look at how this links in to it all now.

William Hoffman’s “Moments”

Nice short-film, the editing is flawless and the way it flows is amazing. Titled “Moments” by William Hoffman (a NY filmmaker) it is “a celebration of life that was inspired by David Eagleman’s book: Sum.” Each moment is moving and clear. Take a look for yourself….

After you've gone...

I think many people have had before this bitter after taste - separation. Person, who was your life and even more, vanishes one day and you feel is emptiness - you are one on one with your memories and everything by yourside reminds you about HIM/HER. Well, this music abd video is about this.
